Broad Ripple Villa in the Village(1 block to strip)

Can into town to visit family and play golf. Home was perfect and location could not be better. Everything exceeded our expectations. Home was very clean with many amenities and we absolutely loved having a private pool. We will be renting this one again.

Host was wonderful and responded quickly to questions, concerns and even provided ideas on things to do in the area.Property was clean and comfortable. There were more bugs than we were comfortable with in basement, but first floor was wonderful.Outdoor space needed attention. Outdoor patio lights did not work at all. Pool light did not work, making it difficult to swim at night with children. Pool was significantly over chlorinated-my daughter’s blonde hair turned bright green, her friend’s hair coloring was stripped due to way too much chlorine. Both needed salon treatments to fix their hair. Overall, it was okay. Probably would not rebook.

Really enjoyed the location, the pool, and most of the house. We found the third bedroom to be unusable--my friend said it was musty and a little creepy in the basement. Also the bed folds out onto the floor and the steps are a bit steep. She ended up sleeping on the couch upstairs, so I refunded her some money and ended up paying more. The pool was nice, but the lounge chairs were broken. The fridge makes crazy noises (especially noticeable if sleeping on the couch). Towels and linens were nice, the bed was comfy, pillows left a lot to be desired. No wine glasses and some little gnats (lots of rain may have contributed). Screens on doors and windows would be nice for cool mornings. Host was very responsive. If we ever just need 2 bedrooms with one bathroom upstairs and one in the basement, this would be great. But when we need 3 bedrooms, we won't stay here. Overall, nice place.

Great space with a beautiful pool! The landscape is a bit overgrown which made the parking and pathways a bit difficult but the rest of the property is spectacular! Truly enjoyed.

Lovely home with some pros and cons ..Pros: Pool was amazing, nicely stocked kitchen and comfortable beds Cons: Upstairs bathroom shower very slow draining, always had standing water by end of showering, kitchen sink would leak into basement, messaged host and he was quick to respond but took days to get it fixed, King bedroom TV speaker blown and multiple days we returned and found dead bumble bees in home. Not sure is nest somewhere but concerning if allergic Would rent again just hope few of minor issues will be addressed
